Amstelveenvoorelkaar is the platform for volunteering and neighborhood assistance in the municipality of Amstelveen. You'll also find a wealth of information about volunteering and everything it entails.

Running errands for someone else, helping out in the garden, working at the community center or thrift store? These are all fun tasks you can do as a volunteer. Discover the Volunteer Academy! This is a place where you can take all sorts of practical courses to help you grow both personally and in your volunteer work. Many of these courses are free, while others require a small fee. It's a great opportunity to expand your skills, so make sure you take advantage of it!

Support for newcomers

Starting in March 2025, a temporary shelter on Professor WH Keesomlaan in Amstelveen will offer a safe home to 300 asylum seekers. Let's work together to ensure a warm welcome so they feel truly supported. Would you like to contribute?
